Nigel has played guitar for 45 years “trying to become Jimi Hendrix, but failing miserably!!” He took up the Ukulele and joined the fantastic Worcester Ukulele Club, from there, he says he has “been fortunate enough to become a member of WILFS CARNIVAL BAND, and loving it”  Tastes - Beatles, Kinks, Most 60's stuff, Rock 'n Roll, Blues and anything that cheers me up!
Mark started playing Guitar and Bass in the early 60's and played with a number of bands in the Brum Beat era but “packed it in and got a proper job”. He started playing about with a Uke a couple of years ago but really got interested when he joined the Worcester Ukulele Club early in 2014. Tastes - Most good music particularly 60's, Beatles, Stones, Beachboys, Clapton etc.
Ernie played Bass briefly in an R & B Band, then joined the Worcester Ukulele Club in 2013 to play & improve his Bass playing, as well as learning to play the Ukulele. Ernie provides the Bass (and some Ukulele), at gigs for the Worcester Ukulele Club and Wilfs Band.
Tastes - Julia Nune - just love her!, Dylan, Cake, Beatles, Peter Green's Fleetwood Mac, The Allman Brothers, Creedence Clearwater Revival, Canned Heat The Ukelites.
Sue started playing piano at the age of 11 and took all exams to Grade 4. She took up the Guitar at 14, then went on to bass. Sue sang alto in the church choir and also sang and played bass in a quartet that entertained at old people's homes. She took up the Ukulele just over 2 years ago and the Mandoilin more recently. In the band Sue plays mainly Sopranino which is an octave higher than a normal Uke. Tastes - I love all sorts of music, from Larry Adler to ZZ Top, my favourite song on our list is Sweet Pea.
Richard learned classical guitar then formed a local acoustic band called Plastic Paddy. They played Irish covers and hits from the sixties onwards at illustrious venues such as Eastnor Castle, & Fownes Hotel, Richard also played in the 144,s a Fernhill Heath based band playing The Kinks and 50’s & 60’s pop. He has written and recorded a few of his own songs and done a short set at The Marrs Bar during The Worcester Music Festival singing his own compositions. Tastes - I'm listening to The Levellers at the moment and my last five purchases have been: Vangelis, The Beatles, Frank Sinatra, Martyn Joseph and Graham Parker and the Rumour. My favourite DVD is Yes live at Queens Park Rangers in the 1970’s. Jon Anderson is my musical hero.

Chris sang in the Salwarpe Church Choir

for several years as a child, he also

played Drums, briefly for a “Boy Band” in

the 60’s. Before taking up the Ukulele,

Chris dabbled with the Piano and Drums recieving professional tuition in both. He was one of the original 5 founding members of the Worcester Ukulele Club, some 6 six years ago. Tastes - I love everything from the 60’s and 70’s, both pop and rock. My particular favourites are: Small Faces, Kinks, Beatles and Jethro Tull. I also enjoy folk and country, in fact anything well performed.
